Kenton May Day 2026 is on the 4th of May this year and there are four amazing poster designs up around Kenton and surrounding villages designed by the children at Kenton Primary!
In the words of the wonderful KSPA:
“Don’t forget, the theme this year is “The Forest 
& Fairy 
Folk” – we’ll be awarding a special prize to the most creative costume on the day, so dig out your wings, or elf ears – or maybe you’ll come as a Toadstool 
or Owl 
, perhaps a squirrel 
or even a Fox 
! Whatever you come as, we can’t wait to see you there! Kenton Playing Fields – Monday 4th May – 12-4pm

There will be stalls, entertainment, food, a bar, willow weaving, Morris Dancers, a green man parade and an amazing prize for the best fancy dress. There will also be a raffle, just £1.50 per ticket, or £7.50 for a book of 5 tickets which you can buy at the May Day Festival.
Kenton Pub and Community Group will be running a fully stocked bar, featuring fabulous beer from Exeter Brewery.
Come and see us at the bar, or add a brick or two to our Lego Dolphin rebuild
(£1 a brick). We will also be asking for your vote on the best pet to become our “Pub Mascot”!! Have you entered your pet yet?

The competition ends 6pm on the 2nd March. The winner will be announced at the end of the day and will receive a framed photo of their pet. Another will be proudly displayed in the pub when it opens.
